I want a multi select checkbox type field on the account form. I noticed there is no option to include check boxes type fields out of the box in CRM Dynamics 365. Any suggestions how could I achieve this ( all the values selected should be submitted along the form as well ) ?

    Hi Mohd Tahir,

You can convert option set to multi select check boxes in dynamics CRM. Please refer the blog below for more details.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Mohd,

Any Two Option field type can be displayed as a checkbox in the field properties.  You would simply have to create a field for each option in your option set.

    Hi Ryan,

But do you feel that it would be feasible? I want to provide my client with a multi-select checkbox where he can choose multiple locations. For example selecting multiple states where an agent operates for the client. In that case am I going to create a checkbox field for every state of a country?

The upcoming Dynamics 365 July 2017 update (9.0) introduces this functionality.

    Hi,

When will it be officially available for us to use in on forms?

There is no official date when this will be released, but the SDK was recently released, which usually means it is not too far behind, but nothing official.

You can also use the MultiSelect tool from Sonoma Partners:

    Hope this helps.
