Repair bad .FBK file

Recently we had issues with our server and lost our NAV data. We use the SQL Database.

When we tried to restore the data backup file created from NAV , the .FBK file, we had an error message like the file is not a valid NAV Backup file.

That is the only backup we have. I need real help here.

1. Can the file be repaired.

2. If yes, who can help us.

Please help!!!

    Hi,

Are you restoring on an existing database? Or did you create a new database to restore the only backup you have?

What was the size of the backup file?

If you can provide the exact error message that you get while restoring, then perhaps one from the community can assist in providing the most apt solution.

    Thank you.

If you don't have a proper backup procedure in place, you're pretty much dead.

The only thing you can do is to find the last valid backup and replicate all the transactions from that last valid backup until today.
