Export field name online version

Hi everyone,

I am trying to export the name, data type and description of all the fields against an entity and I can't work out how to do it. I can find instructions for the on premise version but we have the online version of 365.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    This may help you to generate metadata of all fields of the selected entity.

    Hello,

    To generate the fields metadata you can also leverage the usage of webApi to check the Entity metadata definition.

    1. you should run orgURL/api/data/v9.1//EntityDefinitions?$select=MetadataId,SchemaName to get the the EntityID
    2. then you should run orgURL/api/data/v9.1//EntityDefinitions(<EntityMetadataId>)/Attributes?$select=SchemaName,AttributeTypeName,Description
