Ios Dynamics 365 for phones settings

I have online Dynamics 365 2016 and the latest ios app. The icon for "click to dial" on a contact does not dial the phone. The email icon launces the email client but the phone icon does not evoke the iphone dialer. I also noticed in the iphone settings for the Dynamics 365 for phones app, does not have any configurable properties for the phone dialer. I am not sure if this is a setting that I need to enable on the iPhone, to allow it to Grant privileges to the app to allow it to use the dialer. Or if this is just an issue with the app. Has anyone had the same issue where the Dynamics 365 for phones app icon will not vote the iPhone dialer?
