How to change the search function in Solomon 6.5 (type value and match from right to left ?

My company is a big partner of Microsoft in VietNam. We are deploying SL 6.5 for my customer and get this problem.
As you have known, the search function in SL 6.5 support finding information from left to right.
Here is example:
- I got two kinds of product with the code are 8900005 and 8900006 and all products will begin with this code "8900"
- So when i type "89000" i will see all of customer's products and it's not useful.
- And when i type "006" or "005" i get the same result.
Now, i wanna change the search function to make my customer more comfortable with my system.
But i don't know how to rewrite the source code of search function.

Please help me !!!
