slow on nav 2018 windows client. Need help

  • RE: slow on nav 2018 windows client. Need help

    Hello,

You dont say too much exactly what is slow, but in general a good place to start performance troubleshooting is with the methods here:

Modern NAV/SQL troubleshooting - Microsoft Dynamics NAV Sustained Engineering Team Blog - Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV User Group - Dynamics User Group

And run this to check recent performance history:

Simple query to check the recent performance history II - now including Query Plan information | Microsoft Docs

Here to look for blocking hotspots:

Table Information including Index information (Usage, Blocks and Reads) | Microsoft Docs

Those two places are quick to run and if no other ideas, often a good place to start general performance troubleshooting.
