I am not allowed to click in the field (grayed out) so i click on the magnifying glass to get a list of values, a list comes up, i can select from the list but it does not fill the field on the form.  I can then type in the field that was previously grayed out.   I have attached some screen shots.1-Magnifying-Glass.jpg2-Lookup.jpg3-Lookup-selecting-record.jpg4-Lookup-after.jpg5-Editable-now.jpg

    Hi Jarumbo,

what you should do in the first place, is to change the compatibility settings in Internet Explorer. IE11 is notorious bad when it comes in support for CRM.

If you add the URL of your CRM environment to the compatibility list, chance is big that your list problems will vanish.

Please let me know if this solves your problem

The URL was already in the compatibility list.  I tried removing it and adding it a gain but the list problem still exists.  I did read that there is rollup 17 that deals with IE11.  It looks like we are on rollup 5, wondering if we need to update.

    Hi Jarumbo,

that sounds like a good idea. Please be aware that rollup 17 (or even 18) needs at least rollup 6.

Do you have a testing environment in which you can test the update?

Yes, I will update to 6 or 7 first, then to 17 or 18 in my test environment.

    Thanks for you guidance.

    Rollup-17-install-error.jpg

Found out we were on 11, so I downloaded 17 and tried to install it.  It was almost finished then kicked out the attached error.

    Hi Jarumbo,

did you verify that your account has sufficient rights on the SQL Server? From what I can see in the first error, I would suggest that you add your user to the SQL Server sysadmins group on SQL Server.

    Then retry

Thanks Bas, the install worked great after being added to the sysadmins group.  The list selection is now working as well.

    Have a great day.
