Hello,

i have a custom entity A and created a lookup field called "Company Name" associated with Account entity. As Entity A is the Parent Table and will display all the fields from entity A so created table permission for entity A as global access and added Account entity permission as a child permission and assigned web role as a authorized user. but when i am clicking "Company Name"lookup field on the form saying "There are no records to display" even i have few existing records in Account entity. Anyone can give me some lights on this please. what could be the issue?

Hello Steve,

i am not using any existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Apps. i have used Customer Self-Service template to create a portal within the environment and then create a custom solution for my application. in that solution, we have custom entity with few fields, one of the fields is "Customer name" and this field lookup with account entity to get the customer name. As i mentioned i have few existing record into Account entity but nothing is displaying when i click on the look up "Company name" field on the web form.
