Hi all,

I got an error while preview the reports in MS Dynamics NAV 2015 client machine !!!

it says that “Rendering output for the report failed and the following error occurred : The definition of the report is invalid.”

What does it mean?? I have tried with re-installing and even gave permission to the user.

There are around 4 client computers and only one  computer got this issue !! Please help me on this.

Thank you.

Is the same account is used on the all the different computers or different users ? i believe it may be permission issue for the user.

Have you tried to change the permission for the users to match other user permission who does not have the issue.

    Hi Dinuka,

Are you using any images in your report? If Yes, put your image variable under a data item which has less iteration in the report.

please publish the complete error messages from eventviewer concerning that issue.

do you use one common nav service instance for your computers or does each of them use it's own nav service instance ?
