Is it possible to sell a Release Production Item, before the production goes to Finished Prod?

Hi Community,

I would like to ask I have an item which has been sold. It was a production item under the status Released Production..

So i am curios how come a Released Production Item can still be allowed to sold before a Finished Production is set in place?

Hello,

The system will generate the Output entry when Production Journal is posted.

Yes, this is possible.

When you post output in the last operation the Item is produced and is put on inventory and then you can sell it.

However, the costprice can be modified afterwards if you post consumption to the production order after is has been produced.
