VST Tools - DAG - SmartList Modified DLL

Hi all,

I am running some code to create a SmartList modified dll:

dag.exe 0 "c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\Gp2015\Dynamics.set" /F /N:SmartList

I am however getting an error, and the dll is not created successfully: "Type not found AccountNumberCompositeData." The Dynamics modified dll is getting created well.

Any thoughts are welcome.

    I don't think you are using the DAG utility correctly.

    The zero is the ID of the module you want to "DAG", 0 is the core Dynamics dic.

    You probably need 1493 which is smartlist on my GP. (check your .SET file).

    the /N: switch is used to override the outputted assembly to another name than the default. This is merely the name of the file and does not affect the contents as the contents are derived from the ID you supply.

    So I think you are just creating an assembly for the dynamics dic with the smartlist name.

    You are right.I was using the wrong product ID. Many thanks, that has resolved it.
