Can I delete all debtors history from our system?

I have bought a company from the receivers after it went bankrupt. It has an older version of dynamics rms. I didn't buy the debtors and need to remove the history of money owed to the previous company but I want to keep all sales history, items information and supplier information. Or start a new file and import the items, customers and suppliers. Any ideas? Thanks
