Reporting metrics for internal staff communications

Hi,

Our comms team wants to use D365 Marketing to start sending out weekly / monthly news letters to all staff members within the organisation. Approx 4000.

Currently they send it out via outlook but they now want the capability to analysis who is opening and probably reading the newsletter and those that do not.  D365 Marketing can do this??

Within the newsletter will be links to various stories, guides, basic what going on stuff.  They also want to know whose opening these.

The purpose is to tailor made the newsletter to news, stories people will open and read.

It's to get more engagement as from our yearly staff survey is seen a drop in staff being engaged.

The staff contacts are not currently in D365 so these will need to be added.  We use Azure which is fed by SAP for recording staff details and providing them with the necessary access to applications.  (User / Groups)

Is there away of using this to feed into D365 and update this for any new arrivals / leavers so it's constantly updated / refreshed.

These details will need to be kept separate from the 'Real'  external contacts.

I did see a question similar to my requirements posted back in 2020 so hopefully technology / licensing as improved to allow this

Can anyone assist me in creating this in D365 for marketing.  I assume flows will be involved??

    Do you have an estimated time when this feature would be potentially available so I can keep an eye out for the release??

    Hi,

    Thanks for submitting this query! As part of our roadmap, we have a feature to enable you to orchestrate journeys to custom entities. Once this is enabled, you could create a custom entity for your internal staff members and orchestrate journeys with "marketing" emails in real-time marketing and also assess the analytics information pertaining to those journeys.

    Once we have finalized the launch timeline for this feature, we'll update it in our release notes. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any follow up questions.
