Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie to Dynamics AX 4.1.  I'm getting ready to build some SSRS reports that link into the system.  Primarily connecting to the CustTable, InventTable, and SalesTable.  Are there any database structure maps out there that show how the different tables connect to each other so I can make my joins, etc.?  Maybe how the enumerators work, etc.   My end goal is to create drill down reports.

    For DAX 4 there is a database structure document available – actually 4 is the only Dynamics AX version that have this kind of documentation. You can Google (or Bing:) for "Dynamics AX 4.0 data model overview" and you’ll find several links to the AX40datamodel.doc, e.g. on the Kashperuk’s blog:

    Note that it is not the complete database documentation, as it covers just some tables and not in full detail. E.g. partial documentation for CustTable and InventTable is there, but nothing for SalesTable. AFAIK no newer version of this document is publicly available.
