Posted on by 524

RE: Copying fields from one entity to another entity

Hello Ravi, I am looking for help concerning the "Attribute Editor" tool, and I think you could help me in this urgent case:

I have to update the option set (picklist) values of several variables in different entities of my CRM instance. Following the procedure to update those values (msollenberger.com/.../quickly-updating-multiple-entity-attributes) , I do not get to modify any of the picklist option values. I am using the XRM with the last version 1.2018.1.20.

Could you please tell me, how can I to resolve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance for your possible help!

No, its not possible. There is a tool in XRm toolbox "Attribute Editor" which you can use to create using excel but I believe creating it manually would be more faster than using tool assuming you don't have to create multiple.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Anand,

You cann't reuse the field from one entity to another, the only option is to create them again.

If you found it helpful, please mark my answer as verified.

    Best Regards,
