I am working on a project to onboard our India entity and setting up Tax Deduction at source (TDS). I followed this blog

https://exploredynamics365.home.blog/2020/06/27/withholding-tax-tds-tcs-end-to-end-process-configuration-transaction-settlement-authority-payment-with-challan-details-and-report-in-microsoft-dynamics-365-finance-and-operations-part-1/

Everything looks good up to 2.Transactions. When I click the Tax Account Number (TAN) to view the withholding tax details, I got the captioned error.

This error also appears when I look into Withholding tax settlement periods.Screenshot-2022_2D00_06_2D00_16-121245.png_2D00_640x480.pngScreenshot-2022_2D00_06_2D00_16-121258.png

any idea how to get this work? Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

Not sure if it a bug or not but there is similar issue reported before:

I think you can try to check with MS support team on this.

    Thanks Anh.

I logged a ticket with our support partner and then escalated to Microsoft.

The reply is disappointing. Microsoft replied that our version is too old. I believe we are on the latest one, 10.0.27, reconciled on the MS website. Also, our instance is cloud based, that should got the latest. When I push further, they just said India localisation is not supported in any version.

I haven't push further, as it is just wasting my support hours.

    Hi George Fung,

The error a development bug which can only be resolved by applying a deployable package. Reason why Microsoft asked you to update your environment.

    Kindly update to 10.0.29.

    Hi Komi,

As an end user, I have no idea about deployable package, and we are running on Azure cloud, which should I assume we should have the latest patches.

Having said that our Microsoft partner should know about it, but they just have no clue.

10.0.27 was like a month or two ago. Our instance is now on 10.0.29, still no luck.

    Anyway, thanks for your reply.
