I have development experience in X++ in Dynamics AX, but am completely new to Enterprise Portal development. So any help is appreciated.

I have to build a simple website that allows our distributors to log in and submit some contact information about prospective new leads. This information should then be analyzed / checked / verified by AX and a new lead should be created if approved. The logic that does the verification and creates the lead will be in AX classes.

What is the best way to approach this situation? If you could give me some idea where to start and how to go about approaching this task, I'd really appreciate that. Are there any good examples currently in AX that do something similar to this?

You can develop a Web application using .net and use .net business connector provided by Dynamcis AX to implement your functionality in Dynamcis AX.

Enterprice portal can not be utilized and it will need AD authentication for your Distributor.
