We have this weird issue that happened last week for one employee and again repeated this week for another employee. Basically, when processing a payroll check, it shows that the State Witholding (CA Tax) withheld as $0.01 from the gross pay of $491.59. However when 'General Posting Journal' is printed, the $0.01 does not form a part of State Withholding account but shows up with the description of 'Account not found'. Also, the gross pay for this employee does not get deducted from the Payroll Account.
So basically the payroll check prints as it is supposed to be but for some reason the posting does not seem to be happening right. The above instance is the one that happened this week. The similar issue we faced last week was for another employee and the Gross Pay for that employee was $491.52 with State Withholding of $0.01.
Has anyone bumped into this issue before?
