Non-stock (service) item cost

Hi

I need your help to find the best solution to make the cost of non stock items follow on credit.

ex: I invoice the non-stock item the cost will follow because it is marked on a PO.

If I credit the non stock the cost will be 0 or it will be the cost of the last transaction with non stock item.

How can i make the cost follow on non stock.

Thanks for your ideas

    Hi alzelus,

What do you mean by the costs will follow?

If you post the invoice for your non-stocked item, you should get an expense posted but your inventory value should not be affected.

    Can you confirm that?

Maybe you can attach some screenprints that illustrate what you mean by saying that the costs will follow.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

If you have services that are "non stocked" set up as regular items the best way to make the cost connection is by marking the two ordet lines. That will override your costing principles and do a direct connection.

There is a "non stocked" parameter in the item model group that effectively negate all inventory posting and makes the item an expense item.

I assume this is one of these not non stocked non stocked item/service cases... If you know what I mean.
