I need to bring Dynamics CRM data into PowerBI. I used Dataverse and I can't see the appointment data, but whenever I tried to get Account data, it always says: the table is empty. Actually we can see accounts from Dynamics 365 CRM front-end.
Internal Dynamics CRM support team told me that they even assign my account the System Administrator role. I still could not see the data.
Any advice?
THanks

Hi,
Can you please run below query in your browser instance where you have logged in to crm with your credential
ORGNAME.crm3.dynamics.com/.../accounts
Replace ORGNAME with your organizationname.
If you able to get response and could see account records then ask you internal team to remove your security role and reassign it again.
Also, create Power BI report from scracth and use multiple methods to check if you are able to get data from any other methods.
Hi Kenneth,
Yes. I knew how to connect to D365 CRM though Dynamics 365 (online) and CDS. But I heard Dataverse is the best way. Still trying to figure out.
