Support of AX2012 R3 for Windows Server 2016

Hello everyone!

Does anyone have experience with AX2012 R3 CU11 running on Windows Server 2016? I know the official sys req document from Microsoft states you need CU12 for Win Server 2016, but anyway - what is the issue with CU11? Doesn't install at all or has problems in operation?

    It can be any number of reasons ranging from Windows kernel, registry hive, service incompatibility, etc. Microsoft does not list why it is not compatible, they just tell that in which version was AX compiled to support those. It is not recommended to run it like that even if you are seemingly able to.
