GP 9, user's reminder will not delete

Hi there,

I have a user on GP 9, who has a reminder and she cannot delete it. It looks to me like it was a reminder set to occur every year on January 1st initially. She has tried deleting it, She has tried to select "completed" and then click on delete, she changed it to occur only yesterday but then came back again today.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this reminder?

I would gladly post more info you need some.

Turns out it was that reminder. My user had just changed some settings on it, and I did not know.

This fixed it. Thanks a lot for your info.

Is it the reminder to "Participate in the CEIP" from Microsoft? If you know SQL, you can get in and delete these. Sometimes they are a pain to get rid of through the interface. I seem to remember having the most problems with V9. There is a Microsoft script that removes the CEIP message in reminders. You should be able to modify it for your needs if you can follow what it is doing.
