Dynamic Worksheets Do Not Show SQL

Is there a way to turn off the feature that has Dynamic worksheets export with a "Database Query" instead of a "Web Query"?

We cannot edit the Web Queries. We get an error, and cannot connect to see the SQL to modify the query.

We prefer to see the SQL in the Command text window.

We create hundreds of dynamic worksheets every year, this is a big part of our business, but we MUST be able to modify the Query and See the text in Excel.

My CRM is currently on-premise and is not configured to be internet facing. So if I configure the claims-based authentication and internet facing deployment, will the excel file let us modify the SQL query?

Also, Can you change the default format for static excel exports to be plain text, no table formatting?

Dynamic work sheets need to support internet facing and crm online and so they have moved to fetch based web queries. This is the same for reports generated by the report wizard that now always use fetch. If you want to use sql you will need to create your web queries by hand. AFAIK there is no way to control this behaviour.
