Is there any way to access the data produced on a management reporter report in SQL?
I have a client who wants to analyze their financial statement data in SQL, not in Excel.

It would be very complicated to link to the tables in Management Reporter to pull the financial data. I would strongly suggest exporting the report to Excel like you mentioned, or to directly link to GP if you are looking to access specific data instead of trying to pull the MR report data.
The raw data that MR looks at for the reports are stored in the Datamart.Fact table. All Reports with the combination of company, dimension, period, account all link to this table to pull the actual data for those reports. Instead of using this table it would be much more efficient to go directly to GP and analyze the data in SQL, or to use your Inquiry screens within GP to analyze the data.
If looking to get into more detail on the MR report, you can always change the detail level to Financial, Account, and Transaction this will will allow you to drill down further to analyze the data being pulled into MR.
