Dynamics NAV 2017 on Azure

Hi,

We had installed Dynamics NAV 2017 in Azure from the App found in Marketplace. I am trying to prepare Clickonce install link for installing Windows clients. when I run in Power shell I am getting below error:-

You cannot call a method on a null-valued expression.

At C:\DEMO\Clickonce\install.ps1:36 char:1

+ $PublicMachineName = $config.SelectSingleNode("//appSettings/add[@key ...

The line 36 as shown below:-

$PublicMachineName = $config.SelectSingleNode("//appSettings/add[@key='PublicWebBaseUrl']").value.Split('/')[2].ToLower()

I need to specify any parameters in config file?

    Hi Anil,

You should run the "initialize" script before... did you?

    Hi,

The Dynamics NAV is already installed in VM from the App available in Marketplace. I still need to run Initialize Script first? Please advise.

    Thank you!

    Regards,

    Anil

Is it something related to SSL error? I didn't specify any SSL certificate I had used default.

I am facing the same Issue while using Windows Server 2016 Datacenter? I have made one earlier using 2012 R2 Datacenter which worked just fine. Is it because of the OS?

Hi Anil Kumar Kurra, please go to VM then create inbound rules for ports (80, 443, 7047 and 7048). Re-run script again.

    Best regards,

    Vu Pham
