Nav 2015 Data Migration Issue

I am in the Rapid Start Services and am trying to import data back into NAV 2015. I am in the Config Packages. I was able to export to excel and  make adjustments to my spreadsheet. When I go to import the data and apply package, nothing happens in the system.  Am I missing a step? I do not get any errors after clicking import package or apply package.

    Allison,

The Substitution sub-table, off the Item Card, does not have a date field. This seems custom, which seems to be coming from the other software you mention. In your Rapid Start package, the Substitution table I am guessing has a date field you want to populate. Without seeing this table I would recommend checking this or connect with your Partner to assist with this ISV addon to confirm.

    Thanks,

    Steve

This is where it gets complicated. I am trying to change dates on substitutions behind an Item Card. My version of NAV 15 has many add ons and items specific to the company. I believe its a Line Item table. I have another package set up that changes dates for another reason and this one works. Not too sure if this helps you.

    Allison,

OK, I follow but need more information. If you are trying to change dates to a Posted Document or Entry table, this will not occur. If you are changes dates to a Journal Line then it will update. Can you tell me what Table and Information you are trying to update?

    Hi Steve,

I am importing date changes. So, I need to change a date from April 9, 2021 to July 9, 2021. I have a CONFIG package already set up and it's to 1 table. I am able to export to excel, change the dates that need to be changed and when I go to import that document and apply the package nothing changes. As mentioned after completing the import I do not get any errors.

    Allison,

Not knowing what you are importing but lets say you are importing General Ledger History. This will import to Table 81. After you import, you should open the General Journal and Batch you told the import to populate and then Post from there. Can you explain more on what you are importing and into what tables?

    Thanks,

    Steve
