How to save the vertical adjustment in the print dialog when printing checks

I logged into Dynamics as 'sa' and printed checks. I modified the vertical alignment in the print dialog box to adjust where the printing starts on the form. When I print checks again as 'sa' the vertical alignment setting is still there.

If I login to Dynamics as another user the vertical adjustment in the Print Dialog box is not saved.

What needs to be done to allow a user to set a vertical or horizontal adjustments and have them save?  Where is this setting being saved?  Local Dynamics program file, SQL table or Computer setting?  I've been looking but have not found anything on this subject.

I'm really intrigued by your post and I have a couple questions.

Did you use the GP Report Writer to modify the check?  Next question, when you log in as another user and the alignment is off is that from the same workstation or a different workstation?

You might have gotten there by printing the check to the window then selecting Modify Current Report but I'm just not sure.  The term 'print dialog box' is throwing me off so I'm wondering what that looks like or how you got there and if you are in GP report writer.  It might be you are using a third party such as Liaison or Mekorma not the native GP Report Writer.

If it's GP then the report format changes are kept in a file called Reports.DIC and the issue becomes setting security to the other users along with sharing the file across the users.  Let me know on above questions if you get a chance.

    Thanks

    Tim
