Dear first check your field mapping if you mapped that field exactly.

or If you are uploading chart of accounts first check category which you are using is this available in default Category of GP?

Then create a column and map it with the same field of integration and select "Use Source field"

    Thanks

Hi, Mariano is correct. you need to set the constant to be the category number and not the category name. My mistake.

You can't fix what you don't know -- I suggest you go to training to understand the application and Integration Manager. Category is a required field in the creation of an account. Integration Manager imports the numeric value corresponding to the category. This field MUST be mapped and cannot be defaulted. If all your accounts belong to the same category, then you can use a constant value for the import.

There is no 'use default' for creating new GL accounts. You nee to set the category each time. However, do you intend using the categories for reports? If not (and most companies outside of the US don't use the inbuilt financial reports) - you could set up a new category in GP callled 'NONE' and assign this to all integrations - ie set the value to be a constant and set the constant to be 'NONE'. My two cents...

What kind of integration are you designing?

    Hi Rahul,

Are you uploading chart of accounts?
