Hi

I am trying to create a workflow that would create a Que item for all Leads that are missing information.

I thought it would be easy enough to do. However, a field called Que Item (lookup) is mandatory and I dont know what to put in there.

how can i add multiple lead to a que? how do you setup the workflow?

Thank you

Elsa

    Hi,

    did you activate queues for the lead entity? This can be done under settings --> customizations --> customize the System.

    Click on entities --> lead

    Check if queues is checked. (If you do not want, that for each new lead a queue item will be created automatically, ensure that you don't tick "Automatically move records to the owner's default queue ..."

    Reg. the workflow. Create a workflow for entity lead.

    Add step --> Create record

    Choose "Queue item" --> click set properties

    Select Queue. In the field "Queue item" add the lead for which the workflow is being executed. (Click in the field --> on the right side in Dynamic values the entity Lead should be displayed --> select field "Lead" and click on OK"

    You also need to define when the workflow should run? When a new lead is created and certain field is missing --> for this purpose you could add a check condition to the workflow.

    Or you create an on demand workflow and you trigger it manually, by selecting the leads you want to put to a queue in advanced find and then you click on workflow and select the workflow you want to run for These records. --> this is only possible for all leads shown on the current page (so max. 250 records)
