Folks,
Attached is my security model. Teams are created under respective BUs (under Child BU1 and Child BU2). Users are added to the team and permissions are managed through teams and not at user level. An user named Alen is added under a Sales Manager Team under Child BU1 and assigned the Sales Manager Role. Now Alen is available to access the CRM System but unable to read/ create leads (same is happening for all the entities).
Any thoughts?

CRM online version, created new team in the root BU and added users to that team and then assigned the role to team. Still no luck
Regarding Security role, I just created a new role by copying the OOB Sales Manager at the Root BU

Try to create new team in the root BU and assign the user to the team . Login with different user clearing browser cache ,system temp file .

Did you tried to give the user individual security role? If not please try to assign individual see user can access leads or not.
Are you sure the security role having sufficient access ?
In addition try to create another security role copying Sales manager role under child business unit and assign that role to the team see how it's behaves.
