Has anybody come across this phenomenon before?
Our GP 2010 menu just stopped working properly. The menu headings in each ledger do not expand or collapse any more. I have looked through all the settings but can't find anything that would address this issue.
Anyone any ideas?

Sorry I'm not sure of 2010. Can you possibly try replacing the GP2010>>background folder with a copy from Working machine or from older GP folder backup if you have any. Just a suggesion.... again, take the backup of the folder before trying this out.

Does this apply to GP 2010 as well. Because I can't see the table SY07140 in Dynamics.

Looks area page activities are stored on SY07140. can you take a backup of this table/DB itself, and then try deleting the records and see if it fixes.

You are correct, no one seems to have suffered the same issue.
This is the point at which to get this put through your formal support partners. When you find a solution do post back here as I and future others would be interested to know how it was solved.

The menus that are expanded cannot be collapsed anymore and the ones that are collapsed cannot be expanded to access the menu items. This is a snapshot of the Financial but this applies on Sales and Purchasing as well. It suddenly changed since last week. No idea why. Every user who logs in experiences the same problem.
Where is this controlled in the settings so that I can have a look as to what has changed?

Is this limited to one workstation?
