Hi there,
We have several brands with different websites containing different D365 forms. I need to know which website has generated the form fill as a record against the contact/lead to make it easy for follow-up.
So I thought putting a hidden field on the form would be a good way to do this.
But how do I populate a field with the right brand name? So that every form fill from a Contact us form has a specific brand associate with the lead?
I'd appreciate help here.
Thank you.
Hi,
The website cannot be filled in automatically by adding it into the marketing form as a form field.
But you can find it in the Insights tab of the marketing form.
You can export the submissions.
Then extract the contact info from the "Form submissions" column.
Import the Page URL based on the contact info.
Hi,
community.dynamics.com/.../how-do-i-populate-lead-source-from-a-hidden-field-on-marketing-form might help you.
Other way is to use javascript to populate the hidden field. See stackoverflow.com/.../using-javascript-to-populate-a-hidden-field-from-url-parameter. But you will need some scripting knowledge.
I'd love some insight on this as well!
Thanks Everyone!
