Great Plains 2013 E-Mail Function

Hi There,

We are trying to use the E-mail function in Great Plains 2013. We have a 32 bit version of outlook 2013 setup, sending and receiving mail, but when we go through the process of trying to use the feature we are prompted with the exchange log on dialog box and get the logon failed, check your information and try again. When we cancel out of the box we are met with the famous Connection to the MAPI server not available.

I agree with Tristan, if you take a look at the System Preferences is MAPI selected for the Server.

Go to System Preferences (Tools | System | System Preferences) and make sure that MAPI is selected for Server Type.

This way, GP will use the profile currently logged in on MS Office.
