I'm installing Workflow on a new server. It authenticates to the web service, to SharePoint and starts installing.
It pops an error though saying it failed to find the node, section name@='cachingconfiguration'. I haven't been able to find a solution.

Turns out, according to the tech who picked up the ticket, it is an IIS issue on the server that requires an IIS reinstall!
Good morning, neither host headers nor alternate access mappings are on on this site.
There is one setup on another web app/port with internal and external listings, will those need to be disabled?
Anything else we can check? Business Portal 5.1 is on a separate Web App and Site on this server.

Do you have host headers on? If you do WorkFlow will have issues with installing. You will want to remove the Host Headers and alternate access mapping for the installation. They can be added afterwards.
