How do I migrate from sql2005 to sql2008r2 current databases are using Microsoft dynamics SL FP1. I will appreciate step-by-step procedure or documents/links. Thanks

Hi,

How do I migrate from SQL2005 to SQL2008R2.
We will be using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition x64

Our current server is Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise x86
SQL Server 2005 SP3 x86
We are currently using Microsoft Dynamics SL FP1.

    I already have migrated the databases using restore from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008 R2.

    I have posted a question for the compatibility level if needed to change from 80 to 90/100
