Remove / disable inline lookup suggestion list in CRM 2016

We are currently upgrading to CRM 2016 Online. We are implementing a scenario where-in we are changing the default entity selection on "Regarding" lookup from "Account" to custom entity. But for the lookup suggestion/ inline list it is still showing the Account entity records rather then the custom entity records.

Is there any solution / workaround to remove / disable the rendered list and take the user directly to the Lookup Records dialogue window?

Hi Shruti,

I think there will be JavaScript called on form onload in your old system for making default view. Create same JavaScript function in CRM 2016 as well.
