Email a Link from a Dashboard

Hi,

Can anyone advise if its just not possible to email a link to a Dashboard as it is to Advanced Finds and records in Dynamics. I don't see as an option and just thought I would ask.

    No, but if it's a personal dashboard, you can Share it and it will show up in their Dashboard list.

    Hi Agnes,

    I take it this is a Personal Dashboard. For a personal Dashboard you will need to share the Dashboard and the Views that are behind it.

    If you are looking to share it to multiple people I would suggest that you create it as a system dashbaord

    Hi Agnes,

     

    There is work around for this, I have got the below URL form this Blog. crmtipoftheday.com/.../whatever-happened-to-the-copy-a-link-button.

     

        

    http[s]://orgname.domain.com/workplace/home_dashboards.aspx?DashboardID={GUID}.

     

    And after you share the dashboard and views with the users, complete the required information and enter the personal dashboard GUID in the above URL.

     

    I have discover the quicker way of coping the personal dashboard GUID inn CRM 2016.

     

    Click on the recently viewed records icon on the blue top navigation bar.

    Locate the dashboard you would like to share and copy short cut by right clicking on the dashboard name.

    Past the copied link on the notepad and grab the record GUID and paste it in the above URL.

    Send the link to the end user.
