How to run workflow when a process is finished?

Hello,

I have a stage field (text field) that I was to update to the word "Closed" whenever a process flow is "finished". I currently have a workflow that runs that should updated the field when the last stage of the process "exits" (have "on exit" checked in process flow) which also finishes the process but the field is not updating.

If I run the workflow manually it does change.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes thanks for answering. I have done that and have other workflows in the process working correctly. The issue seems to be when finishing the process and the worfklow not triggering on stage exit for the last stage.

On what build are you on?

If you check the workflow execution do you see any errors or is it even triggered?

Hi,

which CRM 2016 version you are using.

If you are using v8 and above. You can use below method to achieve it.

Right now BPF is an entity now, so you should able to create a workflow on it.

Let's move to last stage and click finish
