Hi, Everyone:
We are thinking about switching a partner who was with us more than two decades because of inconvenience of distance. Meanwhile, we found a trustworthy firm nearby of which one consultant has CPA.
Would you tell me of your experience, if you could? Is it easy to do so in the middle of support plan year?
Meg
Changing your Microsoft Partner can occur whenever you wish. The new Partner would work with you to complete a Change of Reseller form that you would then submit to Microsoft.
If your annual maintenance includes support with Microsoft, that should not change.
As for distance, is that really an issue? I haven't visited a client in well over a year. Remote connectivity and Zoom meetings have certainly made life a lot easier. I have clients all over New England. Just my $0.02.

Hi, John:
I appreciate your prompt feedback.
It seems you are one of Microsoft resellers, located in NH. Yes, they are rather a classic type of consulting firm, charging travel time, too. More than money issue, I prefer the new one's consulting style to theirs.
Your feedback synchronized with a suggestion I heard from. We will decide for our final solutions.
Best regards,
