I'd start with something like this as a tutorial as it should be very similar for Edge and Firefox. blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../debugging-custom-javascript-code-in-crm-using-browser-developer-tools .
At the bottom of the linked pages there are the references for the different developer tools for each browser which is worth checking out!
