Issue In Language Translation in CRM 365 Onpremise

Posted on by 20

I need to add language translation in a solution, so i opted two ways:

1. Through XRM toolbox. Selected Easy Translator.

When i imported the translation, will it import in my required solution which i need to send for production?

2. Through the custom solution i have translated the one field, but when i am importing this solution in other organisation i am unable to see the required change of label on the respective field.

And there is no error while importing or exporting translations.

Please suggest.

    Hi Nidhi,

As I said you need to make sure to include all the related customization in your custom solution (using Add existing) then the translation should be automatically part of your solution to take it to next environment.

    Thanks

Thnks  Mahen, Will try to make all customization same. But how to do with XRM toolbox. As all the translation will be in  default solution.  Will those translations reflect in my custom solution?

    Hi Nidhi,

Translations are not part of solution direct - but you can include all of your customization where you used translation under solution so indirectly it will be in your solution. so make sure you have correct customization in your solution and them exporting solution and importing it to target environment should be fine.

Alternatively you can also import translation directly to your target invironment if the same customization is part of that environment as well.

Let us know if you are still facing issue.

    Thanks.
