365Quick question, has anyone got Project service to work yet? I have a number of questions and issues with this module.
1) I cannot get it to install. Microsoft are looking at an error message I am getting. Has anyone else managed to successfully install it.
Using the trial I then get other issues.
2) When creating an opportunity and I click to enter a project-based line, it opens the dialog for entering a product based line. Is there a setting I should change to allow project based lines?
3) What is a typical flow through the entities?
I was expecting to create an opportunity to represent a potential piece of work we could deliver for a customer, we could then work up a couple of quotes and if they accepted one of these quotes it would then lead to a project. The process however does not seem to flow that way. It seems to think that a project record will already be created and i then link to it from the quote.
The process does not seem clear and the module clearly still has a few bugs in it. Is anyone using it successfully? I also hear that there should be a July update specifically for the module but Microsoft can't confirm that.
