Can we restrict the manager from viewing the compensation details of his direct reportees in MSS page?

The manager can view all the other info like certificates, leaves etc but not the compensation... is it possible?

    Hello,

Yes, you can restrict a Manager from viewing the comp details, by customizing the standard Manager role. You can create a copy of the standard role, and take off comp related privileges from it. Based on my experience, I can say that the one highlighted below should do the trick, but may be you quickly scan other duties and privileges and run a few iterations to check removing which privilege would help you meet your requirements.

Please don't forget to assign the new customized role to the user instead of std Manager role.

    Good luck!
