I inserted the EnableWCRibbons=FALSE statement in my dex.ini file. My menu now looks like the old style menu and the Edit is available.
Joe, there is no such Dex switch which disables/enables a context menu as far as I know. What ever the new context menu you are seeing now may be added few updates ago when there was no Window ribbon. And the Developer would have not considered the situation of Window ribbon. With the introduction of window ribbons, I understand you missed out on the only option (Edit menu) to delete a scroll line.
My suggestion would be to contact MS Dynamics GP support and report this issue. Mean while, as a workaround, you can follow the suggestion I provided.

Natarajan,
Yes its mandatory to disable Manufacturing (of course, if you are not using that module) to get the context menu to delete a scroll line as it seems there is a code written in Manufacturing to block the default context menu and introduce its own context menu.
However if the user requires the Manufacturing module functionality along with Edit menu, they may need to fall back to classic Tool bar for GP windows instead of Ribbons that came with R2. I already mentioned how to do that in this thread.
[/quote]Thank you for your investigations on this issue. We use the Manufacturing module so we could not disable it. The interesting thing is that we have always had the module enabled and only a few updates ago did I notice the right click Add/Delete disappear. Is it possible that there is a Dex.ini switch that might have been dropped along the way? Otherwise we are going to have to go back to the classic menus.
I will share that if I come across any document on this
Naga, thanks for your update. If you will find any document regarding the same, please share to us.
No Soma, I didn't get that from any document. I just had a look at the new context menu posted by Joe and felt its related to manufacturing and disabled to check if the default context menu works or not. That's how I found that the context menu from MFG overridden the default one.
No the Window ribbons are not available for rich client prior to GP 2013 R2. It was available for web-client from 2013 and inherited for rich client from GP 2013 R2.
Hope this helps.
I have read all your threads above and wondering why this is not working for manufacturing module.
Naga, Do you have any document for confirm the same? Is Ribbon types of window available in prior to the GP2013 R2 version?
Your reply is much appreciated.

Yes Naga, it works for me too. it is mandatory to disable the manufacturing module? while disabling other window works with this option?
And Tom could you let us know if you are getting that with Manufacturing module enabled as well.
