I have a business scenario in TMS, but am unable to make i working in D365
My scenario is ->>I need to purchase goods from 2 vendors i.e vendor A and vendor B. I need to use the same vehicle as the vehicle is having sufficient capacity and both the vendors are on the way back to my warehouse.
The below is the way i have configured routing plan
sequence 1->Warehouse A to Vendor A
sequence 2->Vendor A to Vendor B
sequence 3->Vendor B to Vendor C
sequence 4->Vendor C to Own warehouse
I have configured spot rates,
But D365 throws an error upon inbound shipment confirmation that route is not assigned to load.
So the intention of the client here is to use a vehicle for transportation where it has multiple stops at different vendors to load goods with destination as client's warehouse. At the same time, proportionate transportation cost should be loaded on to the purchase order. i.e
->cost of transport from vendor A location to own warehouse loaded on Vendor A's purchase order.
->Similarly, cost of transport from vendor B location to own warehouse loaded on Vendor B's purchase order.
