How to send email to Team?

dear all

i do have some cases which are owned by TEAM, now, as far as i know, TEAM cant have email, instead i attached a default queue to this team, and then i added an email to the queue.

now, when any workflow tried to send email to the owner of the case, email does not go out.

in another words, how to send email to TEAM?

    CRM does not allow to send email to a team. There is logical reason behind it, Actually Team does not have email id field.

    To send email to a team, you have to send email to queue.

    Hi Ahmad,

    Could you please share what issue you are getting? Are you getting any error message? If the workflow is background, check the process session and see the send email step. Can you send the screenshot of your workflow, I hope you are setting the Queue from the team?

    As mentioned in the screenshot, try setting the queue instead of team.

    i put the following in the TO :

    2018_2D00_10_2D00_16-16_5F00_05_5F00_43_2D00_System-Job_5F00_-Rest_5F00_Branch-Configuration-_2D00_-Microsoft-Dynamics-365.png

    when owner is a team, it works fine and email is sent.

    when owner is a user, it does not work and it generate the following error :

    Hi,

    Why are you using created by (user)? If you want to send email to user, then simply add user. Refer below screenshot. Do note that instead of adding queue & user one by one to the to field, I added both ad the same time. This will check if Default Queue is present in the team if yes then send san email to queue otherwise send the email to user.
