SSRS reports original preview VS copy preview buttons

We know that there are some reports which have print management setting and we can choose what destinations or even the report formats should be used . How ever, as far as I understand print management setup only works if a user clicks on use print management button or turn its toggle on when she/he is posting or sending a document such as invoice or quotation.

The thing that I cannot understand is what is the purpose of original preview and copy preview buttons?

When does a user use copy preview button for specific reports as sales invoice? and what are the differences between original preview and copy preview functionalities more than the title in the report?

    Hello Judy,

yes I'm familiar with SSRS and I have read the controller class of this report, I couldn't realize why these buttons are and what is the usage ( if the reason is to be able to see the out of box report then why we have copy preview) . Also, I want to be sure that these buttons (original and copy preview) do not show the report format specified in print management setting.

    Hi Nastaran,

When you click the Original or Copy preview button on a invoice journal form, a report is generated and printed to the Screen print destination (or to the File print destination in case on-premises installation). The report is generated by SQL Server Reporting Services using the built-in SSRS report design, and shown in the built-in SSRS report viewer.

Their functionalities are different, and you may get a little hint in the methods of the CustInvoiceJournal form.
