Ok that seems weird, all control of the print output should be handled by Windows.

Does it happen for only one report or all reports?

Ok so on that machine everything that users tries to print comes out wrong?

Can you have that same user try to login in on another workstation, and does she get the same problem there.

And also if you login to her workstation as another user, it the problem the same?

Can you check the default printer settings in Windows (both on the local PC and on the Remote Desktop) by going into 'Devices and printers' and ensuring that the paper size and orientation that you want to use is set there.

Then restrart the AX client and try again.

it is set the way i want  but when i remote printing the paper size switch to legal instead of letter

so the paper doesn't go out from the printer

I don't think I can explain that, but I can give you some background information that might help.

Before CU5, AX 2012 ignores the paper and orientation settings that you can provide by using the 'Properties' button on the 'Print destination settings' dialogue box.

It only uses the default settings set on the printer driver in Windows. You can set properties here on the dialogue box, but they have no effect.

With hotfix KB 2820335 (which was included in CU5), you get an 'Override default settings' tick box on the 'Print destination settings' dialogue box.

Ticking it means that AX will honour the settings you make using the 'Properties' button.

Knowing that you don't have the relevant hotfix, does this help?

Ok so i have to get the hotfix to be able to override the printer setting is it what you are saying ?

    Thanks
