Preview Before Posting any Journal

Dear All,

As i know that in AX we dont have provision to see preview of transaction before posting. Can anyone guide a alternative or suitable way to do this..

    Hi all, I have the same issue.

    The purpose to preview is to show the actual posting line, especially when there is Tax posting involved.

    FIN prefer to see the impact to all account before posting.

    Is there any alternative?

    Have you tried using the Print button>Balances report in the journal form?

    If you change the system date to be the end of month date for the period you are posting the transaction to, it will show the beginning balance of that company/account, the amount the journal is for, and then the calculated balance.

    Limitation:  doesn't show balances by dimensions.

    The print button on the journal header will have a balances option to show you the impact you are going to make on the ledger prior to posting.
