Good morning, afternoon, or evening depending on your location! This issue often occurs due to how Power Automate processes file content when saving attachments. Here are some steps to resolve it: Possible Causes & Solutions
Ensure Proper File Content Handling:
When using the "Get Attachment" action, ensure that the File Content is correctly passed to the "Create File" action in OneDrive.
Avoid using expressions that modify the content unintentionally.
Check File Encoding:
Power Automate may alter the encoding of the CSV file. Try explicitly setting the encoding to UTF-8 when saving the file.
If the file appears unreadable, open it in Notepad and check if there are unexpected characters.
Verify File Extension:
Ensure that the file is saved with the correct .csv extension.
If Power Automate is saving it without an extension, manually append .csv in the "Create File" action.
Use "Convert File" Action:
If the format is being altered, try using the "Convert File" action before saving it to OneDrive.
Test with Different Storage Locations:
Try saving the file to SharePoint or another cloud storage to see if the issue persists.
Hope this is helpful :)
